The major port city of Ashkelon was hit by two short-range Kassam missiles Monday morning. No one was hurt. One rocket exploded inside a private home's yard and the other hit an unpopulated spot in Ashkelon's southern industrial zone.

Rabbi David Center was a character-witness in support of the terrorist supporter Imam Qatanani who may be deported from the US. In 1993 Imam Qatanani was convicted by Israel for his affiliation with Hamas. In his testimony the Rabbi expressed his support saying that Qatanani has been trying to unite people of different faiths.
