Al Qaida calls for assassination of Jordan's king

Al Qaida in Iraq reportedly published a message on its website on Friday urging members to assassinate King Abdullah of Jordan.

The message called on "Jordanian partisans" to take action, and addressed the king as follows: "Patience, your fate will be the same as your traitor great-grandfather's."
